Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a Lot Attendant to manage the car lot, park vehicles, and keep inventory accurate. You will ensure a clean, organized outdoor area and help with vehicle releases and payments.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, pay attention to detail, and can work outdoors in varying weather. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth within the team.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours and information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized and clean lot and ensure smooth traffic flow.
  • Arrange and park vehicles in designated lot areas.
  • Oversee and maintain inventory.
  • Replace sold vehicles and create space for new inventory.
  • Inform supervisor of issues as they arise.
  • Ensure vehicle information is accurately entered in the company’s software.
  • Oversee release of vehicles and verify payment forms.

Job description

Guardian Fleet Services is looking for a new team member to join our growing family. Lot Attendantis in charge with moving trucks and organizing the lot to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility increase customer convenience and maintain an orderly service area.

Essential Duties:
  • Ensuring lot is organized, clean, and free from trash, litter and debris.
  • Arranging and parking vehicles in designated lot areas.
  • Overseeing and maintaining inventory.
  • Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory and ensuring most marketable vehicles are put on display first.
  • Informing supervisor of issues as they arise.
  • Lot inventory and systems.
  • Make sure the all the vehicle information is in the company’s software.
  • Overseeing the release of all the vehicles.
  • Releasing – checking form of payment.
  • Needs to match the systems – form of payments.
  • Marking vehicles that are on the way out.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

  • Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to communication calmly and effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours and information
Physical Requirements:

Regularly exposed and working outdoors in the environment, can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.

The job requires walking, standing, bending, crawling, pulling, use of hands., ability to lift, good hearing and vision are required.
