Job summary

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is seeking a Part-Time Lodgings Associate to support guest operations at The Lodge and Safari Camp. The role involves reservations, arrivals, meal service assistance, and maintaining guest accommodations and common spaces with strict cleanliness standards. The position requires a 21+ age, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Hours cap at 29 per week, with weekend and holiday availability. Training and safety protocols are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Fossil Rim’s vehicle requirements.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear and effective verbal communication, in person and over the phone.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance per department standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional guest service in person and over the phone.
• Assist with reservations, guest inquiries, payments, and POS transactions.
• Complete guest arrival, check-in, and check-out procedures at assigned locations.
• Provide accurate information about accommodations, meals, tours, and safety procedures.
• Assist with meal service and setting up/cleaning.
• Coordinate guest schedules, tours, and activities as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and workspaces.
• Complete turnover of guest accommodations and linen services.
