Job summary

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must meet State and Federal Program requirements for Highly Qualified (Associate's Degree, 60 hours, or ParaPro score).
• Experience with students who are academically at risk.
• Ability to collaborate with staff.
• Follow program guidelines and work under supervision.
• Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm.
• Keep accurate records on student activities.
• May be required to take a skills test.

Responsibilities

• Understand the program guidelines.
• Support State & Federal Program objectives.
• Work under the direction of EIS/Literacy and Math Coach and classroom teacher.
• Participate in regularly scheduled professional learning sessions.
• Attend to routine medical procedures or hygiene needs as needed.
• Keep accurate records on activities with students.
• Perform other duties as required by the program coordinator or teachers.
