Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time Cook in Mequon, WI to prepare meals for residents and guests. You will follow menus and recipes, plate food according to standards, and assist other kitchen staff as needed.

Shifts are 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm, with a focus on quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least three years of line cook experience, along with strong communication skills to work closely with residents and

At least three years of line cook experience and/or training.
Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
Prepare food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
Ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of foods.
Stock and clean station for next shift.
Follow proper food rotation policies.
Maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment.
Promote positive relations with residents, family members, and guests.
Maintain safety, sanitation, and security practices.
