A strong focus on safety, sanitation, and teamwork is essential in this role. Responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen staff, ensuring adequate prep, and communicating shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills required.

Aufgaben

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Plate portions with garnish and consistent presentation.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform assigned duties.
• Ensure sufficient food prep and readiness for service.
• Communicate with supervisor about shortages or outages.
• Maintain proper seasoning and food safety standards.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow food rotation policies and sanitation practices.
• Present a professional appearance and wear uniform and name tag.
