Qualifications

• Food Handler's Permit required
• Culinary school training advantageous
• Line cook experience advantageous
• Manual dexterity with kitchen tools
• Knowledge of restaurant best practices
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Physical endurance for long shifts

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to standard recipes and meet chef specifications
• Cook items by grilling, frying, sautéing and other methods to specifications
• Plate prepared foods for service
• Coordinate with servers to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness throughout shifts
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
