City of Hobbs is seeking a dedicated staff member to safeguard patrons and respond to emergencies at the aquatic facility. The role includes enforcing rules, assisting with training, monitoring use of the pool, and helping with events while maintaining sanitary standards around the aquatic areas.

Ideal candidates are dependable, able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and capable of teamwork or independent work with minimal supervision.

Formación

• Graduation from high school or HSE preferred.
• Dependable and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate pool tools and water testing equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to enforce safety regulations.
• Capable of handling fast-paced, stressful situations and learning new duties.

Responsabilidades

• Regular attendance is required to perform duties.
• Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Enforce aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations.
• Attend in-service training and monitor facility use.
• Assist with pool maintenance and water testing.
• Respond to public inquiries and maintain records.
