Job summary

City of Casper Aquatic Facilities is seeking a dependable Lifeguard to monitor pools, enforce safety rules, and provide a welcoming environment for guests. This part-time role offers flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with approximately 15–20 hours per week.

You will perform water safety rescues, assist with basic pool operations, and help guests with directions and information while maintaining a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• No previous training or experience required.
• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required.
• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas and enforce safety rules.
• Respond to emergencies and perform rescues as needed.
• Instruct swim and water safety programs per Red Cross standards.
• Maintain records and assist with facility operations.
