Job summary

REACH Services in Lakewood, CA is seeking a part-time role to support individuals with disabilities through direct educational and vocational services. You will implement living skills and assist in achieving independence, with responsibilities including transport to activities and participation in safety trainings.

Applicants should be 18+, hold a CA driver’s license, and be able to lift 50–80 pounds. CPR/First Aid are provided by REACH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age, valid California driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50–80 pounds; CPR/First Aid training provided by REACH.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing vocational, independent, and living skills objectives.
• Provide direct assistance to individuals in developing Living/Vocational objectives.
• Transport individuals to activities in the community as needed.
• Attend monthly staff/safety meetings and participate in trainings.
• Follow REACH safety programs and document time worked and safety concerns.
