Qualifications

• An interest in and willingness to learn and understand issues as they relate to training and vocational needs of individuals with disabilities and adaptive needs.
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is provided by REACH.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing vocational, independent and interdependent living skills objectives as set out in the participant's plan.
• Be knowledgeable regarding participant needs and backgrounds.
• Participate in meetings to support the development of Living Skills and Vocational objectives.
• Provide support with daily routines including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain progress notes on participants and their objectives.
• Attend trainings and apply new techniques with supervision.
• Support program schedules to enrich services.
• Provide group and individual instruction per individual plans.
• Transport participants to activities in the community as needed.
• Participate in staff and safety meetings.
• Follow REACH policies on time tracking, safety and communications.
