Job summary

SARC Maryland in Bel Air, MD seeks a licensed therapist for a part-time crisis mental health role serving clients and youth in the Safehouse. The position is 10 hours weekly, scheduled as one full day or two half-days, with day or evening shifts and quarterly schedule coordination.

In-person services are preferred, with options for virtual or telephone sessions to fit client schedules. The role includes monthly group psycho-education, post-shelter support, and possible staff consultation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or social work or related field.
• Maryland licensure (LCSW-C or LMSW) preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Ability to work under time constraints and handle crises.

Responsibilities

• Counsels individuals and groups regarding psychological or emotional concerns.
• Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans.
• Provides crisis intervention, advocacy, and safety planning.
• Maintains accurate records and reports as required.
