Job summary

CarePoint Response is seeking a Residential Therapist (Part Time) to provide crisis intervention, behavioral stabilization, and short-term counseling on-site at Baltimore, MD. The role requires a Master''s degree and Maryland licensure readiness, with collaboration across nurses, peer specialists, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master''s in Clinical Psychology (MA/MS), Required, OR master’s in social work (MSW), Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis and behavior stabilization services for clients with varied behavioral health needs.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals in crisis or with high acuity symptoms.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans with goals and supports in collaboration with the client and team.
• Coordinate with hospitals and community partners for direct admission to residential units and assessments.
• Collaborate with the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program for targeted evaluation and treatment.
• Refer individuals to outpatient facilities and continuation of care after discharge.
• Provide short-term, evidence-based counseling for individuals and groups.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support care coordination.
• Occasional travel to off-site meetings or events as needed.
