Job summary

Community Advocates for Family & Youth (CAFY) Counseling & Family Center is seeking a fully licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide trauma-informed mental health services to children, youth, adults, and families on a contract basis in Prince George’s County, MD. Day, evening, and Saturday hours available, with hybrid/telehealth options.

This role requires current Maryland license (LCSW-C/LCPC/LCMFT or equivalent) and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Maryland license required (LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT or equivalent).
• 2 years' experience providing behavioral health services preferred.
• Trauma-informed care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services.
• Collaborate with CAFY staff and community partners as appropriate.
• Experience in TF-CBT, Play, Sandtray, or Family Reunification Therapy is a plus
