Job summary

LensCrafters in Morrow, GA is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Optician to deliver Signature Customer Experiences. You will help customers select frames and lenses, perform measurements, and ensure eyewear meets optical standards while applying LensCrafters’ service model.

The role requires state licensure, dispensing experience, strong communication, and proactivity in using technology like tablets to assist customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of Inventory management systems.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Sales skills – ability to use and carry an IPAD / tablet.
• Comfortable with use of technology to engage patients, customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses to match lifestyle and Rx.
• Demonstrate LensCrafters service standards and Diamond Service principles.
• Take and record measurements, ensure accuracy in fitting.
• Operate POS system and process payments securely.
• Maintain store appearance and update displays.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
