Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician in Atlanta to deliver exceptional value by providing precise eyewear fitting and expert guidance. You will help customers select eyewear, ensure accurate prescriptions are placed in lenses, and maintain the highest standards of care and service.

As part of a busy retail environment, you will use iPads/tablets, POS systems, and other tools to support accurate dispensing, while staying current with fashion trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
• Embrace new technology & change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and customer service.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear precisely.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately under time pressure and with strong product knowledge.
• Multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Maintain store appearance and safety standards.
