Qualifications

• Relevant experience working with children in groups preferred.
• Typing and keyboarding; computer skills involving internet and databases.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with staff and public.
• Ability to lift library materials up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the full-time staff at reference desks.
• Provide answers to reference questions and refer difficult items to staff.
• Assist patrons using public computers to access the catalog and databases.
• Help with programming for children and shelf-reading duties.
