Job summary

Grand Rapids Public Library is seeking a part-time Page to assist with the physical flow and upkeep of library materials. The role involves shelving, sorting, and basic material handling at the Madison Square Branch, with a shared schedule across Week A and Week B, including occasional Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the posted schedule.
• Ability to pass the Page Test after interview.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, routes, checks-in, and shelves library materials accurately and efficiently.
• Reviews shelved materials to ensure correct placement.
• Maintains order and attractiveness of library collections through balancing, edging, and shifting materials.
• Clears areas such as carts, baskets, and tables of library materials.
• Performs other tasks of a similar nature as assigned.
