Allen County Public Library's Main Branch is seeking a part-time Material Support Specialist to help keep a multi-floor building organized. You will deliver books across departments, locate requested items, and ensure quick access for staff and patrons.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort, shelve, and organize books and other library materials.
• Move materials throughout the Main Library, delivering items to the right place on time.
• Retrieve holds and ensure items are ready for pickup.
• Check in materials, inspect for damage, and route them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate shelving through shelf reading and item searches.
• Assist with inventory, donations, and materials for book sales or programs.
• Support projects like shifting collections or maintaining government documents.
• Collaborate across departments to keep operations running smoothly.
