Job summary

The Three Rivers Regional Library System is seeking a Courier to support daily operations by driving library vehicles to pick up and deliver materials between libraries and the regional office. The courier will sort items for delivery, schedule vehicle maintenance, and assist with interoffice mail through PINES networks.

This part-time, non-exempt role starts at $12.00 per hour, with a maximum of 19.5 hours per week. Schedule is Tue and Thu, 8:30 a.m. start; some holiday weeks may shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Drives library vehicles to transport and deliver materials between libraries and the regional office.
• Sorts and labels materials for delivery and retrieves items from branches.
• Maintains library vehicles per manufacturer recommendations and coordinates upkeep.
• Handles interoffice mail and special deliveries as needed.
