Job summary

Library Systems & Services, LLC. is seeking a reliable Courier to pick up, deliver, and route library materials and supplies across LS&S locations. The role includes vehicle maintenance assistance and event setup at sites within the network.

The position is a 40-hour workweek with a temporary-to-hire path based on performance and business needs. A professional appearance and clear communication are essential, as is dependability and timely routing.

Qualifications

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience driving/courier work is a plus.
Detail-oriented with good time-management skills.
Experience working with the public or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle to transport books and library materials within LS&S network.
Maintain delivery/pickup logs and route sheets.
Assist in sorting and routing materials and supplies.
Load/unload materials and operate carts or dollies safely.
Report vehicle issues and arrange routine maintenance.
Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs.
Assist in event setup and takedown at sites in the LS&S network.
Present a professional appearance and courteous conduct with staff and public.
