Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in general maintenance and/or construction.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work under supervision with established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor in maintenance, upkeep, and repair of library facilities.
• Loads and unloads materials from trucks.
• Operates basic tools and equipment for exterior maintenance and interior repairs.
• Paints, repairs, and installs hardware, moves furniture, and cleans tools after use.
• Cleans and stores tools and equipment; supports customer service at the library.
