Job summary

The City of Olathe’s Indian Creek Library is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative II to deliver friendly, informed assistance to library patrons. You will help with inquiries, manage library accounts, support programs, and guide customers through resources in a welcoming environment.

As the second level in a three-tier career path, you will work with a team, handle requests, and contribute to excellent public service. Fluency in English is required; Spanish and ASL are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of administrative or customer relations experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to customers for City services in person, by phone, or online, and resolve inquiries with limited direction.
• Use multiple software applications to initiate and process service requests and generate reports.
• Provide training and support to other employees.
