Mid-Continent Public Library in Blue Springs North is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Associate I to be the first point of contact for customers, delivering friendly in-person and phone assistance at the desk.

You will guide patrons in using library resources, assist with library cards and payments, and support curbside delivery while promoting a welcoming, team‑oriented environment during library hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/HiSet/GED completion required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer/phone skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides customer service in person and over the phone.
• Acts as a guide for customers in use of the library and its resources.
• Demonstrates use of technology and digital services to customers.
• Recommends materials to customers based on interests and availability.
• Assists customers with library card accounts and payments.
• Delivers materials outdoors via curbside delivery.
• Maintains and processes library materials for access and shelving.
