Job summary

Mountain Regional Library System in Young Harris, GA seeks a part-time Assistant Branch Manager to support daily operations and deliver quality customer service to MRLS patrons. The role reports to the Branch Manager and shares responsibility for greeting patrons, handling daily tasks, and ensuring smooth service.

The successful candidate will assist with displays, events, and staff supervision as needed, maintain circulation procedures, and step in as acting manager when the branch manager is

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a customer service field.
• Previous library experience preferred.
• Background Check required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with daily operations.
• Provide quality customer service to MRLS patrons.
• Serve as acting manager in absence of the branch manager.
• Assist with displays, accepting donations, and special library events.
