Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Previous library experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to checking in and checking out library materials using the ILS system and collecting fees.
• Provides direct customer service in person, via email, or by phone.
• Creates and updates member records.
• Assists members with locating materials, including eBooks, OPACs, and other digital resources.
• Assists members with public computer use and general technology questions.
• Performs opening and closing procedures and keeps the desk area neat and organized.
