Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or high school diploma with 2 years related experience.
• Familiarity with library circulation and materials processing procedures is expected.
• Proficiency with library software and basic computer skills for patron assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily circulation desk operations including check in/out and holds on records.
• Create and update online patron registration records and process transactions.
• Provide guidance to students in the use of technology and library materials.
• Prepare library statistics reports and maintain records of items issued and returned.
• Monitor functionality of hardware/software on Library computers and related systems.
• Find substitute titles when requested and maintain security of library materials.
