Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determines patron needs and provides guidance, information, technological assistance, readers advisory, and related library services.
• Maintains knowledge of informational services and provides research and reference services to patrons.
• Explores information sources within the library system and inter-library loan programs.
• Maintains a safe library environment and supervises subordinate positions as assigned.
• Plans and conducts youth and adult programs, including technology classes and online searching skill sessions.
• Provides bibliographic access by inputting holdings into the local catalog.
• Keeps technology skills updated and assists with tech questions; ensures local database integrity.
