Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point’s College of Natural Resources invites applications for an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer. This per-course, part-time academic year position supports teaching across natural resources disciplines, with a workload of 1–12 credits per semester.

Applicants are expected to hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have teaching experience; preferred candidates may hold a terminal degree and have five years of professional NR experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with relevant experience in natural resources fields.
• Formal or informal teaching experience, including outreach or community programming.
• Preferred: terminal degree in a natural resources discipline or five years of NR-related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
