Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to staff courses on a per-course basis across the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The pool approach means opportunities may arise rather than a guaranteed position each term, with teaching hours ranging from 1 to 12 credits per semester.

Positions are part-time, salaried, exempt, and tied to an academic year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or a related field.
• Relevant work or teaching experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
