Job summary

UW-Stevens Point is seeking an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer of Geography and Geology for the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences. This is a continuous recruitment pool for part-time, per-course teaching across Fall and Spring semesters.

Positions may be on-site, with potential for partial remote opportunities, and teaching loads vary from 1–12 credits per semester. Hiring is for a non-tenure track, 9-month academic staff role, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s degree in Geography or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience, interest, and commitment to undergraduate teaching.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
