The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point invites applications for the Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer of Geography and Geology — a continuous recruitment pool for part-time teaching on a per-course basis.

Responsibilities include delivering classroom, online, and lab instruction; developing curriculum; and assessing student performance. Roles are 9-month, part-time, with a variable load of 1–12 credits per semester, and on-site with possible remote opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s degree in Geography or related field from an accredited college or university
• Experience, interest, and commitment to undergraduate teaching
• Experience and/or interest in teaching online courses

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
