Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Information School invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in a fixed-term appointment to teach LIS courses in the 2026-27 spring semester. Qualifications

• Practical or teaching experience in Data Storytelling with Visualization
• Practical experience in Web Development and programming concepts
• Experience providing reference and information services
• Experience with preservation or conservation of library/archival materials

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course content and expectations
