Job summary

University of Wisconsin–River Falls invites applications for a Lecturer pool in the College of Arts and Sciences. This is a temporary (fixed term) position to draw qualified instructors for various departments and courses as needs arise.

Responsibilities include student interaction, delivering in-person/online instruction, and curriculum development across disciplines such as Art, Biology, Chemistry & Biotechnology, English, Mathematics, and more.

Qualifications

• Master's or terminal degree in related discipline is required.
• Experience teaching may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students on course content and expectations.
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Lecturers may be hired in various disciplines across departments including Art, Biology, Chemistry & Biotechnology, English, Mathematics, and more.
