Job summary

Ozarks Technical Community College seeks a Part-Time Instructional Support Specialist to assist faculty and students with educational technologies, including the LMS. Responsibilities include reception, phone support, and processing service requests, both in person and online.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in progress from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard) desired.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience supporting online classes and instructional technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline coverage and instructional support to faculty, students, and visitors, in person and virtually.
• Support LMS, publisher integrations, and online proctoring; track data as needed.
• Manage walk-in reception, answer phones, and handle service requests via the online queue.
• Travel occasionally and provide after-hours or weekend support when needed.
• Assist with trainings and content development as directed.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and maintain exemplary attendance.
