Job summary

Hennig is seeking a part-time CNC operator with experience in metal fabrication and the ability to read blueprints. The role includes operating CNC laser equipment, moving sheets with a crane, and unloading finished parts while adhering to safety procedures.

Day and night shifts are available with a 15% night shift premium. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, follow instructions, and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Experience operating CNC machines and working with metal fabrication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser and move sheets with a crane to the laser bed.

• Working experience on CNC Machines as Machine Operator
• Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication.
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Utilizing a crane to move sheets of steel to the bed of the laser machine.
• Unload parts from the laser bed
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and management directive.
• Ensure a safe working environment, good housekeeping for your respective area.
• Must be able to operate a Forklift.
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift up to 10 hours.
• Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
