Job Description and Requirements:
This position is within Dr. Shaun Mahony's laboratory at Penn State University, part of the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and the Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation. The lab focuses on regulatory genomics using molecular biology techniques and biochemistry.
The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for stocking and organizing consumables, preparing aliquots and buffers, maintaining safety stations, managing inventories, sterilizing lab supplies, and assisting lab personnel with research tasks as needed based on experience and training.
