Ocean Restaurant in Kennebunkport is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to support a high-quality dining operation. You will keep dishes, equipment, and workspaces spotless, enabling the culinary team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include opening prep, washing by hand and in a dishwasher, stocking the kitchen, assisting with light prep, and maintaining sanitary conditions.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking team member with pride in a clean, organized kitchen.
• Ability to support culinary team and assist with minor food prep or plating.
• Willingness to follow safety and sanitation practices in a fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening task lists and prep for daily operations.
• Wash, dry, and put away items using hand washing and commercial dishwasher.
• Ensure kitchen is stocked with dry, sanitized dishware and utensils.
• Assist with minor food prep or plating as directed.
• Handle and clean kitchen equipment safely and as directed.
• Remove waste and recycling, dispose properly, and keep exterior areas clean.
• Restock linens and organize deliveries using FIFO and quality inspection.
• Restock kegs and CO2 beverage syrups; communicate supply needs to manager.
• Maintain an organized, sanitary workstation and perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
