Job summary

Ocean Restaurant in Kennebunkport, part of the EOS Hospitality portfolio, is hiring a Part-Time Dishwasher to maintain a clean and organized kitchen in a fast-paced dining environment.

You will support the culinary team by washing dishes, managing inventory of plates and utensils, and assisting with light prep and cleaning tasks as needed. Competitive benefits are offered for both part-time and full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Dishwashing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete opening task lists to prepare for daily operations. Wash, dry, and put away items from the prior evening.
• Wash, dry, and put away items throughout shift using hand wash in a three-bay sink and a commercial dishwasher.
• Ensure kitchen is stocked with dry, sanitized plates, bowls, flatware, cups, etc.
• Assist with minor food prep or plating as directed.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely; clean equipment as directed.
• Remove waste and recycling; dispose properly and keep exterior areas tidy.
• Manage linen bags and organize deliveries using FIFO and check product quality.
• Restock linens (hand towels, rags, aprons).
• Maintain an organized and sanitary workstation at all times.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors daily.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks (refrigerators, stoves/ovens, storage, hood vents, etc.).
• Restock kegs and CO2 beverage syrups.
• Communicate chemical orders to manager as needed.
• Log any breakage and complete additional side work as assigned.
