Job summary

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three months in a commercial kitchen. Basic cleaning, computer skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 months in a commercial kitchen.
• Flexible, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment and products.
• Basic computer skills for payroll/timekeeping.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Strong independent judgement.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes and kitchen equipment per safety standards.
• Maintain a clean dishwashing area, kitchen, dining room, storage areas.
• Remove trash and recycling; maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Sweep and mop floors; complete daily and closing cleaning tasks.
• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies as directed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
• Support kitchen staff with cleaning and non-food prep tasks.
• All other duties as assigned.
