Job summary

The Salvation Army in Ladore is hiring a part-time Kitchen Worker to support the catering program, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, passing the ServSafe class, the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, and a willingness to work weekends and some nights. Immediate start and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Must pass ServSafe class offered by the Salvation Army.
• Must be good with people.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to be on feet for long periods.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environment.
• Must understand and support the Mission of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep/serving/and dining room care.
• Wash dishes/pans from meals as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen/dining room areas.
• Observe all sanitation rules for food services.
• Observe material handling guidelines for all chemicals.
• Maintain neat and uniform appearance during work hours.
• Perform related duties, as assigned.
