Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations at the Lorain County Joint Vocational School District. You will clean, sanitize, and organize areas in food production and service, with responsibilities spanning equipment, surfaces, storage, and supplies.

Shifts vary and interview details will follow. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or use a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Walk or stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time; perform other duties as needed.
