Job summary

SFC Seattle Eastside LLC is hiring part‑time Chef Instructors in Snoqualmie to lead interactive cooking classes for kids aged 3–18. You’ll work on‑site at different locations, guiding 8–14 children through engaging recipes, with a focus on healthy eating and skill development.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon‑Fri, 2–5pm).
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4–12 weeks).
• Washington Food Worker Card (can obtain before teaching).
• Manage 8–14 children with diverse backgrounds.
• Pass a fingerprint background check upon hire.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Communicate with the team in a timely manner.
• Punctual and reliable.
• No professional cooking experience required.
• Experience with kids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour‑long healthy cooking enrichment classes on‑site at various locations.
• Review weekly curricula and prepare instruction, including ingredient shopping.
• Teach basic kitchen skills: washing, cutting, measuring, safety, and nutrition.
• Share the history, geography, and language behind each recipe.
• Encourage kids to develop healthy food habits and curiosity.
