Job summary

Sticky Fingers Cooking seeks a part-time Chef Instructor to bring engaging, kid-friendly cooking classes to on-site locations in Bellevue. You will lead hour-long sessions, teach basic kitchen skills, and guide children aged 3–18 through creative recipes using our kid-tested materials.

Applicants should enjoy working with kids, manage groups of 8–14, and be reliable and punctual. Training and equipment are provided; a fingerprint background check may be required.

Qualifications

• No professional cooking experience required.
• Experience working with kids of varying ages is a plus.
• Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon-Fri, 2-5pm).
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4-12 weeks).
• Ability to manage 8-14 children with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long healthy, engaging cooking enrichment classes for children on-site.
• Teach basic kitchen skills: washing, cutting, grating, stirring, measuring, nutrition, safety.
• Review weekly curricula and shop for fresh ingredients for classes.
