Sticky Fingers Cooking is seeking part-time Chef Instructors in Woodinville to bring hands-on, kid-friendly cooking classes to local kids.

Instructors lead hour-long sessions at various on-site locations, following our tested recipes and engaging diverse groups of 8–14 children. Paid training and ongoing support are provided; reliable transportation and fingerprint background check are required.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon–Fri, 2–5pm)
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4–12 weeks)
• Washington Food Worker Card (can obtain before teaching)
• Ability to manage and engage 8–14 children with diverse backgrounds
• Fingerprint background check required on hire
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate with the team in a timely manner
• Punctual and reliable
• No professional cooking experience required
• Experience working with kids is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site, hour-long healthy cooking enrichment classes for children 3–18.
• Use kid-tested recipes and teach about ingredients with hands-on activities.
• Review weekly curricula and prepare for instruction, including shopping for fresh ingredients.
• Teach basic kitchen skills (washing, cutting, measuring), plus nutrition and safety.
• Provide direction and encouragement to foster positive, lasting healthy eating habits.
