Zusammenfassung

Sticky Fingers Cooking is seeking part-time Chef Instructors in Bellevue to bring hands-on, kid-focused cooking classes to our students. Instructors lead hour-long sessions after school hours, teaching basic kitchen skills, nutrition, and recipe history to 3–18 year-olds using our kid-tested recipes.

You will work on-site at different locations, collaborate with a fun team, review curricula weekly, and shop for fresh ingredients.

Qualifikationen

Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon-Fri, 2–5pm)
Commitment to teaching full sessions (4–12 weeks)
Washington Food Worker Card (can obtain before teaching)
Ability to manage a group of 8–14 children
Fingerprint background check required on hire
Access to reliable transportation
Timely communication with the team
Punctual and reliable
No professional cooking experience required
Experience with kids is a plus

Aufgaben

Lead hour-long healthy, engaging cooking enrichment classes on-site at various locations in your area
Review weekly class curricula and prepare for instruction
Shop independently for fresh ingredients
Teach basic kitchen skills (washing, cutting, measuring, safety) and discuss history, geography, and language behind recipes
Foster a dynamic, hands-on learning environment and encourage healthy food habits
