Job summary

Global Market Foods is seeking a part-time IT Site Coordinator to join our Chicago/Houston team. The role focuses on Level 1 help desk support, hardware deployment, and network upkeep to keep office and warehouse operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has recent IT training or degree experience, familiarity with Meraki networks, mobile device support, and a basic grasp of cybersecurity. Flexible scheduling with a minimum 20 hours per week is offered.

Qualifications

• Recent IT or related degree graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 1+ year of hands-on IT support, help desk, or network admin experience preferred.
• Familiarity with networking solutions is a plus.
• Experience supporting mobile devices (iPads, laptops) is preferred.
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 help desk support for staff at Chicago and Houston sites.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Meraki networking equipment and connectivity.
• Assist with cybersecurity monitoring and basic threat protection.
• Deploy and support hardware in office and warehouse operations.
• Manage IT service requests through a ticketing system and meet SLAs.
