Job summary

The Israeli American Council (IAC) seeks a part-time Seattle-based Community Engagement Events Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute community events and outreach. The role focuses on participant experience, operational excellence, and ongoing engagement with Jewish-Israeli communities, with 7–10 hours per week.

The position reports to the Sr. Director of Communities and requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating events and programs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Hebrew language proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation and execution of community programs, events, and fellowships.
• Manage event logistics: registrations, communications, venue, vendors, staffing, on-site operations.
• Ensure high-quality participant experience and consistent program delivery.
• Support participant recruitment, engagement, retention, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate post-event evaluations, communications, and reporting.
• Cultivate welcoming and meaningful participant experiences.
