Job summary

The Israeli American Council (IAC) seeks a part-time Community Engagement Manager to lead local efforts in west Broward County, building relationships and expanding IAC's presence.

You will work with the Regional Director, staff and volunteers to design programs, recruit volunteers, and coordinate events that reflect IAC's mission.

This role requires initiative, strong communication, and the ability to operate independently while tracking impact and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong connection to Israeli and American identities and familiarity with Israeli culture, community and current affairs.
• Strong understanding of or demonstrated interest in the Israeli-American and/or Jewish community.
• Proven ability to build relationships and engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into well-executed initiatives.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew in speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the local community, its needs, opportunities, and key stakeholders.
• Cultivate relationships with community members, leaders, donors, organizations, and partners.
• Expand IAC's reach by engaging new audiences and strengthening community connections.
• Serve as a visible and professional representative of IAC at community events, meetings, and initiatives.
• Maintain an active presence on relevant social platforms and community channels to identify trends and engagement opportunities.
