The Israeli-American Council (IAC) in Seattle is seeking a part-time Community Engagement Events Coordinator to support the Community Engagement Manager in planning and executing community programs, events, and outreach.

This role emphasizes strong organization, customer service, and the ability to manage logistics, registrations, venues, vendors, and on-site operations for weekend and evening programs. Fluent English is required; Hebrew is a plus; reports to the Sr. Director of Communities.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $28.00 Annually

The mission of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generation, the American Jewish community, and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel.

Position Overview:

The Community Engagement Events Coordinator will support the Community Engagement Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of community programs, events, and outreach efforts. This role helps ensure positive participant experience, strong operational execution, and ongoing engagement with community members. We are looking for a highly organized, customer-service-oriented team member who's passionate about community building and the Israeli American and Jewish-American communities.

This is a 7-10 hours per week position, and He/She will report to the IAC Sr. Director of Communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Events & Program Execution

• Coordinate the implementation and execution of community programs, events, and fellowships in alignment with organizational priorities and program objectives.
• Manage all events and program logistics, including registrations, participant communications, venue coordination, materials, vendors, staffing, and on-site operations.
• Execute programs and ensure a high-quality participant experience and consistent program delivery.
• Support participant recruitment, engagement, retention, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate post-event and post-program evaluations, communications, and reporting.
• Help cultivate welcoming and meaningful participant experiences.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong connection to the local Israeli-American and Jewish community preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate logistics, and execute projects from planning through completion.
• Experience coordinating events and programs
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently follow through on commitments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills:
  • Fluent conversational Hebrew is required; reading and writing proficiency is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings and weekends to support programs and events.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer service mindset.
