Job summary

The Israeli American Council (IAC) in Redmond, WA is seeking a Community Engagement Events Coordinator to support the Community Engagement Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing community programs, events, and outreach.

This 7-10 hours per week role focuses on delivering high-quality participant experiences, handling logistics, registrations, communications, and post-event follow-up, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong connection to the local Israeli-American and Jewish community preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate logistics, and execute projects from planning through completion.
• Experience coordinating events and programs.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently follow through on commitments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills: fluent Hebrew and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and execution of community programs, events, and fellowships.
• Manage event logistics including registrations, communications, venue coordination, materials, vendors, staffing, and on-site operations.
• Ensure high-quality participant experiences and consistent program delivery.
• Support participant recruitment, engagement, retention, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate post-event evaluations, communications, and reporting.
• Cultivate welcoming and meaningful participant experiences.
